A standard replacement ash thwart for Silverbirch open canoes. The 39-inch version is intended for wider Silverbirch models and braces the canoe between the gunwales, helping maintain the hull’s shape and structural rigidity.

It is supplied uncut and undrilled so it can be trimmed to the required width and drilled to match your canoe’s existing mounting points. Remove an equal amount from each end when cutting to help keep the thwart properly centred.

This is the standard-width option and is not the shorter 31-inch thwart normally used for the narrower Silverbirch Firefly 14. Fitting hardware is not included.
