While other inflatable kayaks rely on rigid flooring and inflatable raft-like chambers, the California uses drop stitching throughout to give you an inflatable touring kayak with the feel and response of a plastic hull. This means you can go further, paddle faster, and see more.
The semi-rigid hull is inflatable for the most part, with rigid plastic where it counts. This means that as well as being lightweight and easy to transport, the California tracks and turns exactly how you want it to. The rigid feel gives you better control and feedback than other inflatables, too. Add the rudder package to increase this control even further.
The California package includes the kayak, a removable seat, a pump, and a paddle, everything you need to hit the water. Solo adventures, camping trips, and touring journeys; they’re all within reach in the California.
What is Drop Stitch Tech?
Drop stitch technology utilises thousands of internal stitches that attach the layers of your SUP, kayak, or canoe together and prevent any balloon-like bulging. This gives an even distribution of pressure and an ability to inflate to a higher pressure, giving you a more rigid feel.
