Thetford Forest Demo Weekend
About This Demo Day
This event runs over three days at Two Mile Bottom Campsite in Thetford Forest, giving paddlers the chance to spend meaningful time on the water rather than rushing through short test runs. From Friday 24th April to Sunday 26th April, participants are welcome to join us any time between 10AM and 4PM.
The setup is informal and flexible. Boats are prepared on the water they’re designed for, with ample time to paddle, swap, and reflect. There’s no fixed route and no expectation to try everything — arrive when it suits you and spend time with the boats that interest you.
Being close to our Norfolk base also means we’re able to support this event heavily, both on and off the water.

Who Is This For?
This demo weekend will suit new and experienced paddlers interested in open canoes, kayaks, and SUPs across a wide range of styles — from flatwater and touring through to more capable river and white water-influenced designs.
It’s particularly well suited to paddlers who want time to explore different boats in changing conditions, or who’d like to compare setups over more than a single session.
You don’t need to know exactly what you’re looking for — just an interest in paddling and the space to try things properly.

Our Demo Fleet!
Because this event is taking place just 15 miles from our factory, we’ll be supporting it with virtually our full demo fleet as standard.
This will include a broad working selection of canoes, kayaks, and SUPs from the ranges we design, build, distribute, and stock — chosen to suit the river and the variety of paddling on offer over the weekend.
Availability may vary slightly depending on conditions and logistics.

About The Location
On the day, paddlers can find us at Two Mile Bottom Campsite on the banks of River Little Ouse, between Thetford and Brandon. The river here offers gently flowing water, with a couple of faster sections and a weir pool that allows paddlers to experience a range of conditions in one place.
This makes it a genuinely useful venue for trying different boats — from flatwater designs through to more capable river and whitewater-influenced models. Access to the water is straightforward, with plenty of space to launch, land, and swap boats without rushing.
Conditions will vary depending on weather and water levels, and we’ll adapt the demo setup accordingly.
It’s also possible to book accommodation at the campsite and explore the river and local area over a few days if you would like to make a weekend of it.
